This was every bit the book I expected, the high and mighty proud man who puts reputation and his station above all else finally being brought down to his knees -literally- by a woman with so much spirit and personality. This was a match that couldn’t go wrong and I’m happy to say it didn’t.

The story is about one proper lady who’s tucked away on a wallflower shelf, and the rake who clears her dust. Hmm, a bit too shabby? Nah, this is perfect, because it’s what happens. Well, okay, maybe it’s Lady Calpurnia, our beloved so called wallflower who does most of the dusting off, but I can assure you, when our hero the rake comes to offer his not-so-gentlemanly help, it’s a feast for the reader.
